Kaye M. Batdorff, age 89, of Stockbridge, MI, passed away on September 30, 2024, in Bunkerhill Township, Michigan. She was born on April 5, 1935, in Jackson, Michigan, to Robert C. and Marion (Nichol) Poxson.

Kaye lived a rich and fulfilling life. In her younger years, she loved to water ski. Kaye was passionate about gardening, vegetables, and flowers. She was skilled in creating flower arrangements and canning. She also enjoyed going for bike rides. Kaye's warm spirit and nurturing heart touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Surviving are her three children, Jamie Batdorff of Munith, Dawne (Carl) Salow of Pleasant Lake, and Shane (Kim) Batdorff of Stockbridge; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry (Connie) Poxson of Pleasant Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin, a son, Steven, and a brother, Keith Poxson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sts. Cornelius and Cyprian Catholic Church in Kaye’s memory.

Mass will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Cornelius and Cyprian Catholic Church, located at 1320 Catholic Church Road, Bunkerhill Township, MI 49251. A luncheon will follow the service.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9-10 a.m.
