Margie Ellen Pollok, age 83, of Stockbride, MI, passed away on February 3, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1941, in Lansing, MI, to Philo and Marjorie (Lyons) Burgess.

Margie married Donald L. Pollok on September 24, 1960, in Perry, MI. The couple moved to the Stockbridge area in 1965, and they were members of the Millville United Methodist Church. She will be missed by her church family.

Margie dedicated many years to the community. She was a 4-H leader and the Superintendent for Ingham County 4-H for over 40 years. Additionally, she was an active member of the school PTO and supported the band boosters. She also was a member of the Lioness Club in Stockbridge. Margie enjoyed the simpler pleasures in life, such as reading and spending time with her family. She would pass time going to the movies on Saturday nights in Williamston. She also enjoyed swimming.

Margie is survived by her children, Michelle Pollok of Howell, Teresa (Mark) Jorgensen of Phoenix, AZ, and Lisa (Tom) Johnson of Eaton Rapids; grandchildren: Benjamin, John (Heather), Kelsey (Grant), and Haley; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Alexander; brother, Pete Burgess of Weidman, MI; and sister, Sharon Ames of Ludington, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philo and Marjorie Burgess, and her beloved husband, Donald, and a son, Michael Pollok.

Visitation will be held at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Millville United Methodist Church, 1932 M-52, Stockbridge, MI 49285. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Stockbridge, MI. A light luncheon will be at the Millville Church immediately following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Millville United Methodist Church.
