Addyson Grace Tilford, of Jackson, MI, age 6, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 15, 2014 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Dale A. and Amber L. (Schulze) Tilford.
Addyson was never afraid to be sassy! She was beautiful, spunky, joyful, and preferred sticking to her schedule. The Little Mermaid was her absolute favorite Disney character. She loved spending time outside and at the lake. She especially adored her puppy, Ruby.
Addyson is survived by her parents: Dale (Kayla) Tilford and Amber (Chris Carpenter) Tilford, half-brother, Maverick Tilford, maternal grandparents, Catherine (Alan) Andrews, and paternal grandparents, Allen Tilford and Doris Tilford, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Annabelle Tilford, step-sister, Jazamyn Tilford, and maternal grandfather, Robert Schulze.
The family will receive friends and family at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral directors are following current Michigan Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for COVID-19, allowing for 10 to pay their respects at one time; those attending will be instructed accordingly, and masks must be worn. Memorial contributions may be made in Addyson’s name to the Make a Wish Foundation or Give Kids the World Village of Florida.
