Kathryn Ann Hall, age 74, of Manchester, MI, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at her home. Kathryn was born on September 14, 1948 in Almont, MI the daughter of Peter and Betty (Hornfischer) VanDoeselaar. She had lived in the Manchester area for the past 26 years, moving from Ypsilanti.
Kathryn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chelsea. She loved to cook, and she loved spending time outside, working in her garden. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. On August 16, 1975, she married James Edward "Ed" Hall, and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, James Jr. (Jessica) Hall of Manchester, and Michael Hall of Manchester; two grandchildren, Ben and Annie Hall; one brother, Paul ( Connie) VanDoeselaar of Traverse City, and one sister Diane (Steve) Meyers of Hamburg, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Mark VanDoeselaar.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chelsea. Burial will follow at Oak Grove East Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
