Judith Ann “Judy” Shevrovich, age 73, of Stockbridge, Michigan, passed away at home on December 6, 2022, of Parkinson's Disease and Dementia, surrounded by loved ones.
She is survived by second mom and friend, Janet Wilson, daughters, Kim (John) Duncan of Stockbridge, Karen Shevrovich of Stockbridge, Karol (Dan) Burcroff of Hanover; as well as grandchildren, Christopher (Rachelle) Shevrovich, Jimmy (Sam) Burcroff, Kaitlynn Burcroff, Cathleen Shevrovich, Sarah Shevrovich; and great-grandchildren, Eli Shevrovich, Ezra Shevrovich, Lucas Shevrovich, Danny Burcroff, and Ashton Shevrovich; siblings, Danny (Mary) Wilson, Brad (Deb) Wilson, David (Libby) Wilson, Rusty Wilson, Jill (Kevin) Nevills, and Sarah (Scotch) Lennen; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” and Kathleen “Kathy” Wilson, husband, Jimmy Shevrovich, and daughter, Kristine Shevrovich.
Judy was born September 1, 1949 to Bob and Kathy Wilson. She was born in Stockbridge and grew up in Fitchburg before moving to Stockbridge as a teen. She graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1967 and married Jimmy Shevrovich on September 22, 1968. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1999.
Judy worked for Stockbridge Community Schools and retired after touching many lives in her 38 years of service. She loved her family, and watching her grandkids and great-grandkids, Western movies, and game shows. She always supported Stockbridge sports and music. The family would like to thank Henry Ford Hospice and Judy’s other caregivers, Margret Marvin, Shelley Brooks, and Sheila Clear .
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Highest Praise Worship Center on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon after service. Please bring any photos or memories to share. Arrangements by Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge
