Barbara Jean Riley, of Pleasant Lake, MI, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Chelsea Retirement Community.
Barbara was born on May 4, 1942 in Plymouth, MI, the daughter of Paul and Gwendolyn (Grady) Decker. She had lived in the Pleasant Lake area for the past 30 years, moving from Detroit. She was a member of Maple Grove Church in Jackson for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and playing games.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Riley, two sons, Kenneth (Kris) Brown of Nashville, MI and David (Pamela) Brown of Fowlerville, and a daughter-in-law, Valerie Brown of Jackson; a brother, Paul Decker of New York; an aunt, Merry Sumner of Chelsea, many grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Brown Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 p.m., followed by a Graveside Service at Munith Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Lang officiating.
