Jan Medina, age 64, of Jackson, MI, passed away at the Faith Haven Care Facility in Jackson, Michigan on July 21, 2024.
She was born the daughter of Charles Flannery and Betty L. Fletcher on February 13, 1960. Jan worked as a caregiver for many years and loved to sing. She also loved country music and was known to be full of life. She enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed her garden, camping, hiking, fishing, and getting tanning at Clear Lake.
Jan is survived by her two children, Justin (Tosanna) Thomas and Julie (Sierra) Dunaway Fletcher. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Fletcher Perez; sisters: Mary Jo (Joe) Cavender and Sherry (James) Decosta; brothers, Charles Flannery Jr. and Todd (Heather) Flannery; grandchildren, Mollyiah and Niklaus Dunaway; uncle, Bill Fletcher; aunt, Delores (Joe) Schroeder; nephew, Jason (Bonnie) Cavender, niece, Janell (Ben) Kelcey; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Flannery; her grandparents, Walter and Mary Fletcher; sister, Linda Flannery; uncle, Keith; and aunts, Joyce McKimmy and Joanne Fletcher.
Private services will be held at a later date.
