Tia Marie Onderdonk, of Whitmore Lake, MI, age 47, passed away on April 25, 2023. Tia was born on January 15, 1976 in Ann Arbor, MI to John A. and Rhonda (Carpenter) Onderdonk.
Tia had lived in the area since 2011 moving from Ann Arbor. Tia enjoyed bowling, walking, and hiking through the woods. She also enjoyed listening to music. She loved to decorate for the holidays, and most of all she loved spending time with her son, Austin, and their dogs, Rocco and Brownie. Everyone that met Tia loved her. She had a big heart and would buy little things for people, especially her aunt, Joanie. She loved playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Tia is survived by her father, John (Michelle) Onderdonk of Florida, her mother, Rhonda Onderdonk, and son, Austin Corbin, both of Whitmore Lake, one brother, Aaron (Debbie) Onderdonk of Ann Arbor, one niece, Olivia, one nephew, Jack; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home in Chelsea with Pastor Jeff Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manchester, MI.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
