Danny Allen, of Jackson, MI, age 77, passed away on April 25, 2023 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, MI. Danny was born on June 27, 1945 in Manchester, MI to Randolph "Doc" and Alma (Houston) Allen.
He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He had lived in Jackson since 1990, moving from the Stockbridge and Munith area. He enjoyed classic cars as well as motorcycles. He loved to travel and enjoyed good food. He also was an Elvis fan. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially cats.
He is survived by five grandchildren, Austin, Jadien, Samantha, Dillon, and Alex; two great-grandchildren, Wylie and DeAngelo; sister-in-law, Helen Allen of Stockbridge, nephew, Donnie (Verona) Allen, and niece, Courtney Allen. He was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Allen and David Allen, and daughter, Shawn Cyrocki, his parents, and his siblings: Garnie Stapleton, Garland Allen, Don Allen, Ann Fletcher, Betty Risner, Mike Allen and Teresa Allen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home in Stockbridge, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Howard officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mackinder Glenn American Legion Post 510.
