Heidi Lynn Schonle, of Stockbridge, MI, age 59, passed away on April 23, 2023 in Howell, MI. Heidi was born on September 28, 1963 in Howell, MI, the daughter of George and Ruth Ann (Cooper) Schonle.
Heidi had lived in the Stockbridge area most of her life. She graduated from Dansville High School and later Spring Arbor University. She worked for the State of Michigan as a Social Security Disability Support Worker for 30+ years. She was a member of the Millville United Methodist Church where she was also a Sunday school teacher. She loved being a grandma, spoiling the grandkids, going on little trips and vacations. She enjoyed reading and had a special place in her heart for animals, rescuing all kinds of things, and she loved her McDonald’s Diet Coke.
Surviving are her two daughters who she loved very much, Tonya (Justin) Poe of Holt, and Crystal (Scott) Hawkins of Potterville; eight grandchildren who she was so proud to have: Jared Jr, Aubrey, Nicholas, Cameron, Makenzie, Gracie, Anthony, and Noah; her siblings, Hope (Eric) Crandall of Stockbridge, and brother-in-law, Craig Hause; a niece, Erica, and nephews, Jacob, Thad, Nathan, Matthew, and Riley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Hause, and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Millville United Methodist Church in Stockbridge, MI, with Pastor Rhonda Osterman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in WaterlooTwp, MI.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, as well as on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Millville United Methodist Church in her honor.
