Faye Ann Freed-Snider, of Manchester, MI, passed away at the Michigan Medicine Hospital on February 3, 2025. She was born the daughter of Clarence H. and Mehitable E. (Bovan) Freed on May 13, 1940 in Marquette, MI. On November 25, 1961, she married Douglas R. Snider, and he preceded her in death.
Faye loved animals of all kinds, especially her dogs, Cookie and Susie. She loved her family, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She enjoyed traveling to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to visit friends and family. She was a fan of QVC and was known as a very determined person.
Faye is survived by her children, Scott D. Snider and Steve (Pam) Snider; grandchildren, Corey (Meredith) Snider and Samantha (Greg) Koebbe; great-grandchildren, Maisyn, Parker, one on the way, Valerie, and Scarlett. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemarie Horsefall.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society.
