Vicki L. Poley of Grass Lake, MI passed away unexpectedly at St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Superior Township, Michigan on April 19, 2023. She was born the daughter of James R. and Emily Margaret (Almond) Mitchell on June 30, 1950. On March 7, 1970 she married Jerry W. Poley and he survives. Vicki loved to read, knit, and go on vacations with her entire family, especially to the U.P. of Michigan. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. In addition to her husband Jerry, she is survived by her daughters Karen (Gary) Bush, Amie Armstrong; sister Jacki (Karl) Roehm; grandchildren Alexander, Jonathan, and Rebecca Clark; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs. The family will receive friends at the Staffan Mitchell Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Staffan Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Ridgeway Cemetery in Tecumseh, MI. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
