Mary Lynn Bushaw, age 72, of Dexter, MI, passed away on November 26, 2023 at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
Mary Lynn was born on April 29, 1951, and she had lived in the Dexter area for the past 50 years, moving from Onekama. She worked at the Dexter Animal Clinic for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a nanny to two of her grandsons for the past 13 years. She loved all animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats. She also enjoyed reading and listening to music.
She graduated from Onekama High School in 1969. She lived in California after high school and eventually moved back to Onekama to work at Crystal Mountain. She then moved to Florida to work in hospitality for a few years before moving home to Onekama once again.
She married Frank A. Bushaw on September 27th, 1974, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are two children, Aaron (Jessica) Bushaw of Manchester, and Keri Bushaw of Dexter; four grandsons; one sister, Kate Wright of Harrietta, MI, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Showalter and Mary Frances Johnston, a brother, Joe Showalter, and a sister, Judy Huberty.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
