Cheryl L. (Nadeau) Houk, of Chelsea, MI, age 61, passed away on January 30, 2023.
Cheryl was born on January 14, 1962 in Detroit, MI to Douglas and Mary (Haycock) Nadeau. She graduated from Chelsea High School in 1980. Cheryl enjoyed reading, watching movies, loving her pets, spending time with friends and family, and sitting out on her deck.
She married Douglas F. Houk, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kelly Houk (Vince Vitale) of West Bloomfield, and Jenni Annarino of Ypsilanti; her mother, Mary Nadeau of Chelsea, four brothers, Michael (Sherry) Nadeau of Saline, Donald (Tammy) Nadeau of Northville, Brian Nadeau of Chelsea, and Kenneth (Leda) Nadeau of Ann Arbor; sisters-in-law, Edie Dehn of Gregory, and Bernice Houk of Stockbridge, and one grandchild, Lockett Vitale; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Nadeau, and a brother-in-law, Daniel Houk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, with Rosary at 3:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea with V. Rev. Dr. William J. Canon Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home.
