Doyal Lee Dunn, age 87, of Stockbridge, MI, went to be with his Lord on February 17, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Doyal was born on September 21, 1935 in Ravenden, Arkansas, the son of Harold and Marie Dunn. On November 5, 1955 he married the love of his life, Ella Ann Perry.
He was a master drywall finisher for 40 years and a true family man that loved deeply. His natural talent and love for music was expressed by playing the steel guitar and other instruments while never actually reading a note!
To quote one of his favorites, Alan Jackson, “Faith, hope, and love are some of the good things he gave us, but the greatest is love.” Doyal will be missed by the many people that love him.
Surviving are his wife, Ella; his children, Diana Regal (Thomas Regal), and Terry Dunn; grandchildren, Heather Holmes, Tamara (Tyler ) Ross, Katie Raus (Ryan Schleicher), Ryan Regal (Wendi Regal), Christina Ramirez (Ryan Ramirez); great-grandchildren, Mason Rasche, Miles Rasche, Madison Rasche, Emma Raus, Ava Holmes, Alexis Holmes, Abby Raus, Annika Holmes, Adelyn Holmes, and Austin Ramirez.
A private interment and celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
