Wanda Lee Resor, age 71, of Jackson, MI, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on February 25, 2021. She was born June 3, 1949 in Paintsville, KY, daughter of Lindsey and Cora (Arms) Conley. She married Thomas Edward Resor, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2007.
Wanda lived in Pleasant Lake, MI for most of her life, and was a resident of Jackson for the last six years. She loved trying her luck at the casino, she was an excellent cook, and her favorite show was the Young and the Restless soap opera. For years, she was an administrative assistant for Pennington Gas Company.
Wanda is survived by her children, Lindsey (Pam) Resor of Jackson, John (Julie) Resor of Frenchtown Charter Township, MI, and Matthew (Alison) Resor of Jackson; as well as eight grandchildren and her brother, Bill Conley of Jackson. In addition to her husband, Thomas, she was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her daughter, Durbin Wright, and siblings, Fay Conley, Paul Conley, James Conley, Frank Conley, Gary Conley, Opal Conley, Ella Conley, and Joyce Ann Stanley.
A visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, MI. Funeral directors are following current Michigan Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for COVID-19, allowing for 10 to pay their respects at one time; those attending will be instructed accordingly, and masks must be worn. Funeral services and burial are private. Expressions of sympathy in Wanda’s name may be made to Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospice Home, Jackson.
