Dani Michelle Ellenwood, age 45, of Cement City, MI, passed away on December 4, 2022 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, MI. Dani was born on April 21, 1977 in Jackson, MI.
Dani had lived her whole life in the Jackson Co. area. She graduated from Jackson Northwest High School, Class of 1995. She loved socializing and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was always very crafty, and she enjoyed sewing. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and camping. She worked for many years for Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in the housekeeping department.
She married Daniel T. Ellenwood, Jr. on May 20, 2006 in Jackson, MI, and he survives. Also surviving are five children, Morgan Jacobs of California, Kyle Jacobs of Jackson, Kaitlyn Jacobs of Jackson, Alexis Ellenwood of Cement City, and Nicole (Sean) Wood of Cement City; six grandchildren and one on the way, her siblings: Shannon Kelley of Jackson Co., Lindsay White of Mason, Ashley Duncan of Jackson, Jake Duncan of Jackson, and Bobbie Anderson of Springport; her mother, Keven (Robert) Anderson, and step-father, Dale (Andrea) Duncan. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Patrick Kelley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Cement City Baptist Church, 16788 Cement City Rd., Cement City, MI 49233.
Funeral services will be held at the church on Friday, December 9, 2022, 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Drew Wood officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fresenius Dialysis Center or Cement City Baptist Church.
